Im looking for a good chip that will help give me better MPG but will give me alot of extra horsepower when I want it.

The Edge Evolution CS Programmer, # EP85150, will work great for 2001 Ford F-150 5.4L. This programmer will give your truck up to 15 additional horsepower and 20 ft/lbs of torque. These ratings are based on stock vehicles and could be different if you have any aftermarket parts installed.
This programmer has an economy power level that will create overall less power for everyday driving that will help with your fuel economy. The Mileage Coach will also help by monitoring your driving habits and offering tips on how to improve your driving habits to save fuel.
You may also be interested in the Edge Evolution CTS Programmer, # EP85250. This programmer is essentially the same as the CS, but has a full touch screen display.
