Question:
I had a 2011 frontier p/u removed tow hitch with wiring. Mounted it on a 2012 Frontier p/u plugged in the wiring but when I plug in the trailer no lights, no turn signals etc... Is there a fuse that I am missing since the 2012 did not come from the factory with the tow hitch?

You will need the Curt Relay Kit # C57000 to complete the wiring on your 2012 Nissan Frontier. Like you guessed, since your 2012 did not have the tow package it is missing a couple connection points.
Check out the video I attached that shows these relays being installed on a similar vehicle as yours
