Will Thule Replacement Mounting Plate # 753-3532 Fit an Older Thule Spare Tire Bike Rack

I have an older Thule spare tire bike rack identified only by part number 5155168. I need a mounting plate to mount the rack to a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Will your part #753-3532 work? Thanks for the info.

I spoke with my contact at Thule and she said the part # 5155168 is a part number for a decal, not for a bike rack. She did say that if your Thule spare tire bike rack has a silver frame, like the Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Carrier, part # TH963PRO, then the Thule Replacement Mounting Plate, part # 753-3532 will work.

If the spare tire bike rack has a black frame, the # 753-3532 will not work. They do not have replacement parts for the spare tire bike rack that is black, because it is an older design.
