The Reese Dual Cam Sway Control, product 26002, does not work in conjunction with the Reese Pro Series. The spring bar is not shaped to allow you to use the dual cam. Product 26002, the dual cam, works to control the sway before it begins, instead of resisting it once it starts, which how the Pro Series works.

If you are encountering sway due to topographical or weather conditions, or in the event the system you currently have on your vehicle is not meeting your expectations, you may want to consider upgrading to the 26002. For your reference, I will go into a little more detail on the dual cam system below.

On the Dual Cam Sway Control, the cams essentially become locked in position, (except in extreme
circumstances), and this rigid connection works to minimize the effect of induced sway caused by vehicles or cross-winds.

Cams typically ride in a locked position except when maneuvering is required; cams will then slide out to permit full radius. In the event of sudden swerves, cams seek a straight-line towing angle to keep the tow vehicle under control.

The advantage of a dual cam system is the ability to prevent sway while providing resistance against it. Dual cams work to hold down the start of the swaying activity and allow vehicle and trailer interaction at the same time. Dual cams also do not require constant adjustment due to
installation the trailer unless hitch weight or tow vehicle loading change.
