The carrier you have chosen is only available for the 2 inch receiver.
Wheelchair and scooter carriers require a heavier tongue weight rated
hitch to safely handle the loads that they are required to carry.
Because of this adapters are not recommended because they reduce the
tongue weight of the hitch. You can use our Hitch Hunter application at
the top of our homepage to select a 2 inch hitch for your vehicle and
any accessories you may need if you need to carry a scooter or
wheelchair. If you would like to let me know the year, make and model
