Can a 50 lb Ladder be Rested on Top of The Convert-A-Ball Bed Extender Part # KG48

Question:

Can a ladder be safely carried on the top bar when tailgate is up? The ladder weighs about 50 lbs.

Since the Kwik Gate Bed Extender is also intended for use as a tail gate step, a 50 lb ladder will pose no problem at all.

Just to be sure, I phoned my contact at Convert-A-Ball. I was told that when used as a step, the bed extender has been tested up to 400 lbs. The product will be more than strong enough for your needs.
