AMP Research BedStep for a 2003 Chevy Silverado

Question:

I have an 03 Silverado longbed with Torklift truck camper tiedowns. I would like to know while in the folded up position does any of the linkage on the step go forward of the mounting points. I only have about an inch of space ahead of the bumper mounting points in the instructions before it would contact the truck camper tiedown mounts.

There is approximately a 2 inch clearance with this application on the underside of the truck bed; near the rear floor sill of the bed. This product is designed to fit a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado with a crew cab or extended cab. It works with 1500 and 2500 light duty trucks, as well as 2500 and 3500 heavy duty pickups.
