Question:
I am interested in knowing where the electrical connection can be mounted on the hitch, or does it have to be mounted to the bumper? i could not tell by looking at the picture.

The trailer wiring for the 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, # 118344, can be secured to the trailer hitch using a bracket and mount for the 4-Way. I recommend the mounting bracket # 18144 with short arm # 18140 or long arm # 18136. The arms just clamp around the hitch and the mount attaches to the end of the arm. You do not want to drill into the hitch because it voids the warranty and can compromise the structural integrity of the hitch.
