Can I use 30285 to pull a small trailer that hauls a Golf Car?

If your 2012 Cadillac SRX came with a factory tow package, you would use wiring # 30285 as a replacement for a damaged or lost factory harness. If the vehicle did not come with a tow package, you will need to use wiring kit # 119176KIT. This is a hardwire kit.
