Question:
on the truxpro cover the rail clamps appear to project quite a bit into the bed, are there any options to those clamps. My truck is a 2012 6.5foot bed silverado. will your trailseal bed seal kit by access work ok with the truxpro cover. Some reviews also mention needing additional seal material at the cab end of the cover. what do you suggest. thanks

The clamps that come with the TruXedo TruXport cover, # TX271101, are designed to fit different bed rails so on some trucks they will stick out further than on others. The pictures you see on the product page are representative photos and do not necessarily represent exactly what they will look like when attached to your truck. These clamps are the only ones that will work with the cover.
The Access TrailSeal system, # 834532001453, is compatible with your truck and the TruXedo cover. For additional protection at the tailgate area, you can use # TX1703206. We have not had complaints about this cover and the front of the bed seal inherent in the tonneau cover. Typical weatherstripping could be used provided it does not block the isntallation area of the tonneau cover.
