What is Included with the Softride Universal Hitch Bar Kit # SR26446

Hi, Can you please explain what this kit consists of? Is it a 1-1/4inch bar that bolts to the bottom of the 2inch tongue of the Softride Dura rack? Thanks

Per our contact at Softride, the Universal Hitch Bar Kit is designed to be used on older Softride Dura, Versa and Element racks that could only be used on one receiver size (2 or 1-1/4 inch).

It is a replacement shank assembly that would replace the existing shank so that it can be used with either receiver size. It would indeed include the bar that would bolt to the bottom of the 2 inch shank that would allow the rack to be used in 1-1/4 inch receivers. (Class II Only).
