Question:
I have a 2004 Ford F 250 super duty. I need a replacement trailer wiring harnass for the truck bumper. Would #30955 be the one that I need? Thank you

Expert Reply:
If your 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty has a factory 7-Way trailer connector and you need to replace it then you can use the replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector, # 30955.
If your truck only has a 4-Way connector and you need to add a 7-Way connector, you can use the 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole adapter, # 37185, and connect the additional wires to the wires going into the OEM connector along the drivers side frame rail under the truck. I attached a video and an article for you to review that shows this type of installation.
