Roof Rack and Side Step Recommendations for a 1998 Toyota 4Runner

For side steps, we have several options for a 1998 Toyota 4Runner. I have included a link to the available options for you. For silver steps, we have # CARR103994 and # CARR124034 that you have referenced. I have included links to the installation instructions for each set for you.

For a roof rack, there are 3 different roof options that were available on the1998 Toyota 4Runner. You could have factory tracks that run front to back, a plain roof with no rails, crossbars, or tracks, or a factory roof rack. The latter I assume you do not have.

If you have factory tracks that run front to back, the only option is a Yakima roof rack with the following parts:

Crossbars, # Y00408
Landing Pads, # Y00221
Control Towers, # Y00214

For a plain roof I think the rack that will best compliment your 4Runner is a Thule system with AeroBlade bars. You would need the following parts:
