Question:
I am looking for a replacement hub assembly for my 6x10 Continental Cargo enclosed trailer. The hubs on it right now are Dexter and marked with 8-248. I believe its a 3500# axle and the bolt pattern is 5 on 4.5. The axle spindle is an EZ Lube model with the zerk fitting on the end. Is this the correct replacement hub for my trailer? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Dexter Hub # 8-248 has the same L68149 inner/ L44649 outer bearings as the Trailer Hub Assembly # 84545UC1-EZ that you referenced so it will work for you.
This hub also has a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern like you need.
