Bike Rack Options For a 2008 Nissan Rogue With a Factory Rear Spoiler

All of the truck mounted bike racks for your 2008 Nissan Rogue require straps to be secured to the top and bottom of the tail gate. It is not recommended to mount the straps over the spoiler on your vehicle because the tension can damage the spoiler.

The best option will be a hitch like the Hidden Hitch, # 87457, and a hitch mounted bike rack. One of our most popular hitch mounted bike racks is the Rola TX-103, # 59403.

Adding a hitch to your vehicle will also give you the option to tow a trailer or mount a cargo carrier. Only a few more items would be needed for towing. You can get the ball mount kit, # 989900, this kit gives you multiple ball mounts and hitch balls for use with multiple trailers. You will also want the T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118480. You could use the Surco Cargo Carrier, # 52018, to add cargo space. I have included a demonstration video for the cargo carrier for you to check out.
