SportRack A30901 May Need a Frame Adapter for a Womens Bike

Question:

Would I need to purchase a frame adapter for a womans bike when using this carrier, or would it adjust enough to grab it securely.

You will need to do some measuring. This bike rack will work as long as the hook that adjusts down to hold the bike can hook the frame at the center of the bike. The lowest hook on this rack has a height of 13 inches from the top of the wheel holder loops. You must keep in mind that your wheel/tire combination will extend below the loop approximately four to six inches, so you must take that into account when measuring and ordering. When you attach an inclined frame bike, you need to make sure the hook catches the frame in the cavity between the upright and the inclined bar as shown in the instructions (see below).

If your frame is not tall enough you can order the alternative frame bike adapter #09006 and this should work for you.
