Cargo Net Compatibility with a Rola Roof Mounted Cargo Basket

Question:

I ordered a Rola Vortex rack 59504. Is this cargo net the matching size for securing most things to the rack? Would this net provide enough strength to avoid needing ratchet straps/bungees?

The Rola Flat Strap Cargo Net, part # 59200, will fit your Rola Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part # 59504. This cargo net uses flat straps with a bungee cord net that allows it to grip a variety of different items. The Rola cargo net provides plenty of strength, but that is dependent upon the type of terrain you are traveling on and the weight of the times on the roof rack.

For heavier items you may want to use ratcheting straps like the Retractable Ratchet Straps with Push Button Release, part # 34413. Ratcheting straps allow you to tighten down your items to your liking and the cargo net may need a different attachment point if there is a loose area on your roof rack.
