Rola Tilting Enclosed Cargo Carrier 59110 Experiencing a Moisture Problem

Question:

I like the cargo carrier very much except that It collects moisture condensation, I think after a while. Can you suggest a remedy? Thanks MDC

There is a seal in the underside of the lid to keep out the elements, so you may want to check that to make sure it hasn't been compromised. Also, there is a drain in the bottom at the rear if moisture needs to be drained so you don't have to turn the carrier over. This item is black, so when the sun bears on it causes the items inside, if they contain moisture, to create condensation. This will be unavoidable unless you make sure the items are very dry prior to placing them in the carrier. A possible solution to this would be to get a desiccant pack and place it in the carrier with your items. These packs absorb moisture from the air before it has a chance to condense on the inside surface of the carrier.
