Trunk Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2002 Chrysler PT Crusier

The KingJoe Pro 3, # Y02625, is listed as a fit for your 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser. In order to install the bike rack, you will need to use the glass hook adapters which are included with the rack. However, when using this rack with the glass hatch adapter, you will be limited to carrying just 2 bikes. Unless you had another vehicle that is compatible and could hold 3 bikes, I would just go with the 2 bike model, # Y02624.

Another option is to use a Thule rack if you want to carry 3 bikes. I reocmmend the Raceway 3, # TH9002. This bike rack is the easiest and fastest trunk mount rack to install that I have seen. It uses retractable cables that make putting on and taking off the rack a breeze. I have included links to the installation details and a video review for you.

If you will be carrying womens, childrens, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the bike adapter bar, # TH982XT, in order to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.
