Question:
My dealer doesnt seem to have enough info for this installation. I have a 2011 Ford crew cab shortbox Superduty F350. I want the underbox rails and a reese slider hitch. I want to know what I all need. to do this install myself. Ill order it here online. My trailer is almost 15k GVW. So Im thinking like a 16 or 18 K hitch. Please help. Thanks,

For your 2011 Ford F-350 Super Duty short bed you will need the Reese 18K Elite Series Fifth Wheel Hitch, part # RP30144, and the Reese Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit, part # RP30126.
The Reese # RP30144 hitch has a 18,000-lb gross towing weight capacity and is a slider hitch. The slider hitch will move the hitch 10 inches back towards the tailgate to give you the needed clearance when making tight turns when towing a fifth wheel with a short bed truck. The hitch does come with a wiring harness to add a 7-Way connector to the bed of your truck. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Reese hitch.
The Reese # RP30126 base rails and mounting brackets are custom fit for your 2011 Ford F-350 and install underneath the bed of your vehicle. The under-bed rails provide complete access to truck bed when the hitch is removed. There are no exposed rails and only 4 small mounting holes that are flush with the truck bed. I am including a link to the instructions on the Reese installation kit.
