Question:
Will a Hullavator system fit a 2004 Toyota Prius? I currently have 60inch Yakima Crossbars installed with Thule Carriers... My concern is about the width of the crossbars. Thanks

The Thule Hullavator, # TH897XT, will fit the 2004 Toyota Prius. It is compatible with the Yakima crossbars as well. You should have a crossbar spread of 30 inches, center to center, between the two crossbars. This is sufficient to use the Hullavator.
The carrier only requires about 25 inches of crossbar space (side to side). As long as the kayak is 34 inches or less wide and 75 pounds or less, you can use this carrier.
Make sure that you check the capacity of the roof so you do not exceed it.
