Question:
I have a motorcycle trailer that uses a 2-5/16 diameter ball. I want to get a trailer dolly to move it around my driveway and parking lots. My empty trailer weight is 1700#. All of the dollys I have found have a hole to mount a 3/4 shank ball with has a maximum size of 2. Any ideas? I am looking to by a dolly as well, so any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You can use the Rackem Trailer Dolly, part # RA20, to move your motorcycle trailer that uses a 2-5/16 inch size hitch ball. This trailer dolly has a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball size. Proper ball fit is necessary when towing, but for moving a trailer with this dolly it is not necessary.
The trailer dolly # RA20, has a tongue weight capacity of 500 lbs. Tongue weight is usually 10 to 15 percent of the trailer weight. As long as you can physically pull the weight yourself and the tongue weight of any trailer you move is less than 500 pounds, part # RA20 will work for you.
I also have the Buffalo Tools Trailer Dolly, part # BTTRDOLLY, that has a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball and has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 600 lbs.
