Recommendation for Installation Kit to Install Reese 18K Signature Series Hitch on 2000 Ford F-250SD

To install a 18K Reese Signature Series hitch in your 2000 Ford F-250 Super Duty Long Bed you will need to use the Reese Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit, part # RP30073. This kit includes the custom designed mounting brackets that mount to the outside of your vehicles frame rails and the under bed crossmembers that sit along the top of the frame rails.

If you are needing a fifth wheel wiring harness to get a 7-Way connector in the bed of your truck I would recommend the Draw-Tite Wiring Harness, part # 20110, if you have a factory 7-Way on your truck now.

If you have a 4-Way on your truck you will need to first use the Draw-Tite Wiring Harness, part # 20031, to get a 7-Way at the bumper, then use the # 20110 wiring harness if you want an extra 7-Way in the truck bed.
