Ski Carrier Adapter Recommendation that Fits a Rhode Gear Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack

Will the Thule TH987XT ski rack fit on a Rhode Gear hitch mount 4 bike rack?

You may actually be able to use the Yakima HitchSki Snowboard and Ski Carrier, # Y02418. I did a test fit on the Rhode Gear Highway 4 Bike Carrier, # RG8015221, and the 2 are compatible. As long as you have this bike rack you can use the HitchSki.

You would need to make sure the bike rack cradles are turn inward and you will have to turn the straps around to attach them to the bike rack, but it will work. I took a picture showing the 2 together.

The Thule Hitch Mounted Bike Rack Ski Carrier Adapter only fits certain bike racks and they are all Thule brand racks. The product page does have a comprehensive list of the racks that are compatible. In order to use the ski carrier adapter you would need one of the bike racks listed.
