How Much Torque and Horsepower is Gained Using an Edge Programmer on a 2001 GMC Sierra 4.8 Liter Gas

i am looking at buyin the edge evolution cs for my gas truck. it is a 2001 gmc with a 4.8 litre. i was wondering how much torque and horsepower will i gain with this programmer? hi have a travel trailer 5,000 pounds.

On a gas motor like the 4.8 liter in your 2001 GMC Sierra, the power gains will not be as drastic as they would be with a diesel engine. But, you will experience gains when Using the Edge Evolution, # EP85150. Edge lists the power gains as follows:

Level 0: Stock
Level 1: Transmission Tuning Only
Level 2: 5 Horsepower - 5 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 3: 10 Horsepower - 10 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 4: 15 Horsepower - 15 Foot Pounds of Torque
