Question:
How do you go about changing the SKS locks on the skybox? I am thinking I have to somehow in the unlocked position get the key out so I can put in the control key. I cant seem to pull the key out when I am able to get it in the unlocked position.

Great question! As a convenience feature, the Skybox is designed so that the key cannot be removed while the lock is unlocked, to prevent accidentally locking the key in the cargo box. I gave Yakima a call, and was told that if the key is turned midway between the lock and unlock position, it can then be removed. At that point, you would then insert the control key and remove and replace the lock core as desired.
