Mounting of the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard # 40-0145 On 1998 Dodge Durango SLT

Question:

i would like to see how the grille guard would mount on my 1998 dodge durango slt with a 5.2l V8. The J shaped mounting bracket doesnt seem to align up that well.

The Westin Sportsman Grille Guard, part # 40-0145 attach to the outside of the frame rails on your 1998 Dodge Durango SLT. You may want to compare each bracket to makes sure that one side is not slightly bent which could be preventing the mounting holes from lining up.
