Can a Reese SC Weight Distribution System be Used on a Boat Trailer with Surge Brakes

The Reese SC weight distribution system is a great choice for your 2007 Nissan Titan and also for your trailer with surge brakes. The traditional chain style weight distribution bars pose a problem for surge brakes, but not these system with the friction hangers.

If your tongue weight is under 800 pounds, I would recommend part # RP66153. It has enough gross trailer capacity and includes a shank.

If your tongue weight is more than 800 pounds, you will need to go with a heavier system like part # RP66157.

Both systems include an adjustable shank, but the appropriate sized trailer ball with a 1-1/4 inch shank will be needed. If a 2 inch ball is needed, use part # A-90, or part # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch ball.
