Question:
HOW DOYOU CHNAGE IT FOR A 2009 JETTA

To change the air filter on your 2009 Volkswagen Jetta you are going to need a few tools.
You will need a Phillips screwdriver, slotted pliers and a Torx 15 driver.
First step is to remove the torx screws holding the cover to the intake. Once those are removed you will be able to separate the intake from the engine cover you will need to pry up on the engine cover to get it to free itself from the engine. The best way to do this is to start on one corner and pull up on it until it is free and then move onto the next corner until all of the corners are free. There is a down-tube on the back of the cover that will require some wiggling to get free.
To get to the air filter you will need to remove the screws on the back of the engine cover.
To install the aFe Direct-Fit Pro 5R Performance Air Filter # AFE30-10165 you basically just reverse the above mentioned process.
