Question:
I bought a 2011 Fleetwood Terra 31TS [USED]. It came with a 5000# hitch. I would like to know if I could put a larger 7500# to 10000# hitch on the Class A Motorhome. The vehicle and the ATV Id be towing weighs 3500# and the trailer weighs 2700# for a total weight of 6200#. What hitch could I buy to do what I would like it to do

If you had a very qualified welder install a hitch like a Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch # 15901 on your 2011 Fleetwood Terra 31TS you would have a hitch that is capable of 12,000 lbs GTW and 1,200 TW. This hitch has a 3.45 inch drop.
If you need a hitch with a larger drop you should check out the CURT V Universal Weld-on Hitch # 15902. This hitch has the same towing capacities as the # 15901 but it has 13-1/2 inches of drop instead.
I attached installation instructions for both hitches.
You will need to check with the owners manual of your vehicle to determine what the recommended towing capacities are. The lowest rated component in your towing setup will the overall capacity of your setup.
