Question:
I Installed camera on slide in truck camper to be able to see my boat while traveling. The camera works fine for 8-10 minutes and then the screen turns black. Turn power off and then on and it will work for a few minutes again. My unit is a Peak Model #PKC0RB. Is this normal for this unit?

The Peak Wireless Back-Up Camera, # PK015737, is designed to be used intermittently in conjunction with the reverse light circuit on your truck and if you wired it to constant power the monitor would shut down after a period of time. Shutting down after a period of constant use is normal for this unit.
If you want a camera that can be left on constant without shutting down, you could use the Master Lock Wireless Backup Camera, # 4843DAT. This camera is designed to be wired into the taillight circuit on your vehicle and you could use a 12 inch car and trailer end loop, # 9653P, to make wiring simple and keep the camera removable.
