Question:
1997 chevy lumina tire 205-70-r15 are all the chains that your data base recommends guarranteed to fit with proper clearences for the vechicles it recommends?I m not sure on the clearance on my front wheel drive.

Our fit guide recommends tire chains by tire size only, and the tire sizes listed are the OEM sizes normally found on the specific year-make-model of vehicle you input.
Due to modifications that may have been done or suspension wear, you are responsible for checking your vehicle owners manual and actual clearance on the vehicle to determine if the tire chains will have clearance when installed on the tire. Many manufacturers recommend Class S or smaller tire chains for their vehicles, which requires the chain to have clearance of 15mm or less.
The Thule Tire Chains, # TH04335095, requires 10 mm of internal clearance for use and is one of our lowest profile chains we stock.
