Weight Distribution System Recommendation for a 2011 Nissan Frontier Towing a 4200 lb Trailer

Question:

I am looking at towing an enclosed travel trailer with an approx dry weight of 4200-lb and an approx tongue weight of 450 to 500-lb. Would the Reese #66153 be the right system to use? I currently have a Curt Mfg Hitch Receiver installed.

In order to pick out the correct weight distribution system for a vehicle you will need to know the loaded weight as well. The Reese SC Weight Distribution System # RP66153 is good for up to a 10,000 lbs GVW and 800 lbs TW trailer. If you find that when your trailer is loaded it is near but not exceeding those numbers this would be a very good choice for you. I attached installation instructions for the # RP66153 for you to check out also.

You will also need to make sure that you are not exceeding the weight capacities of your 2011 Nissan Frontier and the CURT hitch you have installed also.
