Question:
I have a 2010 Toyota Highlander 4 cylinder 2.7L. I need to add a transmission cooler as Im buying a larger boat.The truck didnt come with the Tow Pkg and Toyota does NOT sell one. Which transmission cooler will fit my Highlander? I do not see them listed for the 4cyl 2.7 engine. Lastly, how difficult are they to install? Thank you

The transmission coolers are not vehicle specific, you can choose one based on its cooling capacity or by size to fit the available space in front of your radiator.
I would recommend the Derale Series 8000 Transmission Cooler, part # D13502. The cooler includes an insta-dapt fitting that fits most vehicles with 5/16 inch transmission lines, but not all. In some cases, additional fittings or alteration of the OEM lines or hoses may be required for installation.
Installation is not very difficult. Although we do not have an install video showing one being installed on your particular vehicle, the videos I will link you to will give you a very good idea of the process.
