Since you have a 2010 Dodge Ram Crew Cab short bed truck which measures under 6 foot, you will need to use a Sidewinder King Pin with Rotating Turret with a fixed fifth wheel hitch. A Sidewinder will move the pivot point of the trailer rearward 22 inches and provide the needed clearance to make turns. You will need to order the Sidewinder with a rotating turret specific to your fifth-wheel trailer pin box.

If you can send me the make and model number of the fifth-wheel pin box on your fifth wheel, I would be glad to recommend the correct Sidewinder.

It will have a table that will list which Sidewinder will work with which model pin boxes, along with a formula you can use to be sure that there will be enough space between your cab and the trailer when executing 90-degree turns.
