Why would you need the wiring harness for a h11 nitro blue halogen bulb? Do the bulbs get hotter than stock bulbs?

A lot of stock vehicle wiring for the headlights is a fairly small gauge and this can lead to the new Putco PURE High-Performance H11 Halogen Headlight Bulbs, # P230011NB, to not be as bright or the heat can cause the stock wiring to fail in some cases. The Putco Wiring Harness, # P230008HD, prevents that. It is recommended but not required.
