In order to determine which weight distribution hitch would be the right one for your setup you will need to know the tongue weight of your towing setup. The tongue weight includes the weight of your trailer that will be on the hitch ball of your 2004 Ford Expedition, as well as any cargo behind the rear axle of your vehicle.

I attached an FAQ article on weight distribution systems that details how to determine tongue weight for you to check out also. You will want to determine the tongue weight when your trailer is loaded also for the most accurate.

Tongue weight is usually between 10% and 15% of the total weight of the trailer. So on the heavy end of 15% the tongue weight of your unloaded 4900 lb trailer would be 735 lbs. You will want to pick a system that encompasses this figure, so for that tongue weight I would recommend a Pro Series Trunnion Style Weight Distribution Kit with Shank # 49586. This system is very similar to the # 49570 that you referenced except it has capacities that should be closer to your setup.
