Question:
I have a Falcon 2 Tow Bar, came with the used motorhome I recently bought. I ended up not getting the Base Plate to attach to my 1992 Mazda B2200 pickup truck. What base plate will be compatable with my Falcon 2 Tow Bar?

If your 1992 Mazda B2200 is 2 wheel drive, you can us the Roadmaster Base Plates, # 702-1, that you have referenced. These base plates are compatible with the Falcon 2 Tow Bar.
If the truck is 4 wheel drive, you will need to use Blue Ox Base Plates, # BX2507. To use the Falcon 2 tow bar with the Blue Ox base plates, you would need to use adapter # RM-031.
With the base plates and tow bar covered, you will just need safety cables, a lighting solution, and supplemental braking. For safety cables, I recommend the Coiled Cables, # RM-643. The coiled design helps to keep the cables off of the ground. For lighting, there are several solutions depending on your specific needs and how often you will be flat towing the truck. I have included a link to an FAQ article that covers the various options.
Most states now require a supplemental braking system in the vehicle being towed. The easiest to set up and use is the Roadmaster Even Brake, # RM-9400. This is a proportional system that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the towing vehicle is braking. Proportional systems are the safest way to stop and reduce wear and tear on both vehicles.
I have also included a link to our series of FAQ articles on flat towing for you.
