Question:
How does this base plate attach to the Blue Ox Aladdin tow Bar? I currently am using the Aladdin tow bar to tow a 2009 Ford Escape. Thanks!

The Blue Ox Base Plates, # BK1118, do have a 2 prong attachment point that will accept the Blue Ox Aladdin Tow Bar. The picture is a typical photo to just show where the base plates will be once installed. So it will install the same way as it did on your other vehicle.
Also, I asked my contact at Blue Ox about the TJ model Jeep. She stated that as long as your 2000 Jeep TJ is a Wrangler, the base plates will fit. i know we have separate listings in our fit guide for Wrangler and TJ but according to my research a TJ model is a Wrangler.
For lighting, the Blue Ox kit for your vehicle is # BX8869. This kit will provide separate bulbs in your tail light housings. If you need safety cables, I recommend the Roadmaster coiled cables, # RM-643. The coiled design will help keep the cables from touching the ground.
Most states now require a supplemental braking system installed on the vehicle being towed. The easiest to set up and use is the Roadmaster Even Brake # RM-9400. This is a proportional system that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the towing vehicle is braking. Proportional systems are the safest way to stop and reduce wear and tear on both vehicles.
