If plugged into lighter that always has power, will failing to turn off monitor drain the battery? Should the monitor be turned off when not in use or is it fine to leave it on with small blue light flashing?

The monitor on the Peak Performance Wireless Back-Up Camera, # PK015737, will not cause the battery to run down. This unit only draws 25 milliamps which is not a sufficient draw to discharge the battery even when operating at full power. The camera will draw even less power when the vehicle is not in reverse and operating at full capacity.
