Question:
the cargo floor looks like the liner should have another ear like contour on the left side as well as the existing one on the right.What is the width. What is the total length of the liner. It looks like the cut out is equal to the rear total seat travel. Thanks

The WeatherTech cargo liner, # WT40442, is 38 inches long by 41 inches wide at the back and 35-1/2 inches wide at the front, not including the lip around the edge of the liner. I produced a short video showing the measurements I took and the construction of the cargo liner for you to review and determine if the liner will fit in your vehicle.
The 2012 Equinox is still a 2nd generation vehicle so the cargo liner may work in your vehicle, but Weather Tech has not confirmed fit for the 2012 yet, so you will need to measure and check the construction of the cargo liner with the shape of your vehicle cargo floor.
