Question:
Can you provide tips for installing the Tekonsha P3 on a 2004 Honda Pilot along with 118336 T-one wiring harness and ETBC7 installation kit. Also, would the Prodigy P2 have been easier to install and use?

Yes, we have installation instructions, see links, and installation videos, see links, that detail installation of the # 118336 wiring harness and the Brake Controller installation kit, # ETBC7. I posted a photo showing the 4-Way trailer wiring harness that is located at the back of the vehicle under the rear threshold and behind the panel at the back of the storage well.
We do not have a installation video for the ETBC7 on a Pilot, but the video for the 2010 Dodge Nitro shows the same wiring, just on a different vehicle. When routing the wires for this kit, make sure to avoid any hot or moving parts that could damage the wires. I also recommend using solder, # FL0803484, a soldering iron, # BTSI30, and electrical tape, # BT66, for making all connections. This is not required, but will last longer and makes for much better electrical connections.
Finally, the P3 brake controller is a high quality brake controller and would be the controller I would choose for my truck. I tow several different trailers with differing loads and the P3 is easy to set up for each trailer and for trailer weight changes and weather condition changes. The P2 is also a great controller and is easy to use. Most of our customers use this controller for towing the same trailer all the time, but it too is easily adjusted for different trailers and trailer weights. Either controller is going to perform great for you.
