Will CURT Bumper Trailer Hitch # E-3S Fit a 2005 Chevy Silverado with Southern Comfort Package

Will this bumper hitch fit my bumper on my 2005 Chevy Silverado 2wd V8 standard cab, it has something called the Southern Comfort package on it. If not do you know of a bumper hitch that will fit it?

From what I could find, the Southern Comfort package on a 2005 Chevy Silverado did not affect the bumper. What you can do to determine if the CURT Bumper Mount Trailer Hitch, # E-3S, will fit is to measure the area of the bumper where the hitch will install and compare that to the dimensions of the hitch.

The top flat part of the hitch is 11 inches by 4 inches. The bolt holes closest to the receiver opening are 8-3/4 inches apart on center. The other set of bolt holes is 6 inches apart on center. If the holes on your bumper to not match up, the instructions, linked for you, do state that you can mark and drill new holes.

Out of all of the bumper hitches we carry, this one is most likely to fit.

Another option that will not require drilling into the bumper is to use a frame mount trailer hitch. Depending on the specific trim level and model you have, there are several options.
