I went out into our warehouse and pulled a Fifth Wheel / Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Wiring Harness # 31156 to check the wiring placement of the wires and here is what I found:
On the male side with the clip part in the relative 12 o clock position the connector wires as follows:
11:00 yellow wire, left turn and blinker
1:00 brown wire, tail and running lights
3:00 red wire, 12 volt accessory (this is the port you will need for charging a battery)
5:00 green wire, right turn and brake
7:00 blue wire, brake output circuit
9:00 white wire, ground
On the female side the wiring will be mirrored from the male side, but here it is with the clip as the relative 12:00 position:
11:00 brown wire, tail and running lights
1:00 yellow wire, left turn and brake
3:00 white wire, ground
5:00 blue wire, brake output
7:00 green wire, right turn and brake
9:00 red wire, 12 volt accessory
I attached a picture that shows how a 7-way will typically wire up.
