Question:
I have a question about this gooseneck hitch, do you install it in the middle of the bed. Or where does it go. I cannot see the placement of it I am looking for a hitch for a 12000lb capacity of a Dump Trailer

Yes, the # DH1201 Blue Ox Diamond Hitch will be positioned along the center of the truck bed in the area above the rear axle. The brackets for the hitch will line up with existing holes on the vehicle frame.
The # DH1201 gooseneck hitch has a gross towing capacity of 30000lbs, so it would definitely be sufficient for a 12000lb dump trailer. This model is also nice because the ball can be flipped over and stored in the bed, so you do not lose the full use of your truck bed when you are not towing.
Please note that the tongue weight capacity of the hitch is 7500lbs. You will need to make sure that the loaded trailer tongue weight does not exceed this rating.
