What you will need is the 4 and 7 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7. This kit comes with everything you will need to add a 7-Way and 4-Way trailer connector to your 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser. It also provides some parts for a brake controller. If you have a trailer that requires a 7-Way connector, it probably has electric brakes and you may want to consider a brake controller.
I have included a link to an FAQ article and a link to a video that explains the installation of an ETBC7 kit. You may also need a circuit tester like # 3808 if you do not already have one.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha P2, # 90885. This is one of our best sellers because it is easy to set up and use. I have included a link to the installation details for you to view along with a link to an FAQ on brake controllers.
