Question:
My control works at 30 or less if you set it any higher the brakes come On then off er reading e2. Is it the controler my wiring checks out ok.

This could indicate a problem with the trailer brake magnet wiring or the magnets themselves. To determine if it is the brake controller, try connecting another trailer if possible. If it does the same thing, then there could be something wrong with the controller or the controller wiring.
To test the magnets, start with a visual inspection of the magnets and the wiring. If you can see the windings coming through on the magnets they will need to be replaced. Check that the grounds are properly attached to a clean metal surface and that the power wires to the magnets are intact with no nicks, cuts, or breaks.
You can then move on the checking the brake magnets to determine if they are bad. This will require a multimeter like # BTMT15 if needed, and a separate 12 volt battery. I have included a link to an FAQ article that explains how to test the magnets and what you will want to look for.
