Question:

I have a 28ft travel trailer wt.about 5500 lb I am pulling it with 2006 4runner with V8 engine with equalizer hitch air bag on springs about 500lbs of tongue wt. I am still getting a lot of sway would more tongue wt help?

Increasing the tongue weight or moving some of the gear in the trailer forward might help alleviate some of the sway you are experiencing.

If re-distributing some of the gear in the trailer does not improve the situation, going with an active sway control will certainly help.
