Question:
I tried to install the Putco LED bulb with resistors in my front head lights. The turn signals work, but my fuse for the marker lights is blown. There are 3 wires for the signal light: black, green, and gray. I tried all combinations, but as soon as I turn on the head lights the fuse blows for the marker lights. I have side marker light and the turn signal bulb also acts as a marker light in the front. What is the issue here.

It sounds as if you have a wiring issue. When installing the Putco 3157 LED Bulbs, # P233157A360, on your Frontier, you will need to keep in mind that this bulb is a two filament bulb and has two circuits going into the bulb. The 3 wires you are seeing should be two 12 volt wires and one ground wire. Use a circuit tester, item # 3808 if needed, and determine which wires are which. You should get one wire with turn signal and one wire with the tail light signal, the third wire being ground.
Once you have the wires labeled correctly, you can then splice a load resistor, # P230004A, into the turn signal power wire and ground it. A load resistor is only needed on the turn signal circuit, and only if you have hyperflash when the LED bulb is installed. You should not need to install a load resistor on the marker light circuit. You will need to use two resistors one for the turn signal circuit on each 3157 LED Bulb you install. I have attached a drawing that shows how to correctly install a load resistor on a single circuit.
