Question:
Would this carrier fit our 2008 Taurus X? We have the luggage side rails but no cross bars, which ones would we need if it did fit our car?

Expert Reply:
As long as you install compatible crossbars on your 2008 Ford Taurus X, you will be able to use the SportRack Explorer Cargo Box, # A90095.
Since your vehicle has side rails that run front to back, you can use the Thule Crossroad Roof Mounted Roof Railing Foot Pack, # TH450, and the 58 inch Load Bars, # THLB58.
With these crossbars installed on the roof, you will be able to use the cargo box. I have included a link to a video review of the Explorer cargo box for you.
